Susan Hartzell is a longtime Door County resident, entrepreneur, and community advocate with deep roots in the area. Growing up in Sister Bay and now living in Sturgeon Bay, Susan has built a career centered around customer service, real estate, tourism, and small business development.

Susan is the owner of The Salty Seagull Miniature Golf, a family-friendly destination she created to celebrate the natural beauty and playful spirit of Door County. The course, which opened in 2021, reflects her creativity, entrepreneurial drive, and passion for providing memorable experiences for both residents and visitors. She has also worked in real estate and previously spent time as a flight attendant, bringing a strong background in hospitality and service to everything she does.

As a board member of the Southern Door Business Association, Susan is committed to supporting local businesses, encouraging community growth, and helping showcase all that Southern Door has to offer. Her combination of business experience, local knowledge, and enthusiasm for the community makes her a valuable member of the board and an important advocate for the Southern Door area.
